Graham Dent is a self taught jazz pianist. He has been gigging for about 50 years, starting on guitar and later switching to piano/keyboard. He has led several bands, notably his contemporary quintet, Jucamaya, featuring his own compositions, some of which are quirky, but always in touch with the jazz tradition. He currently organises his own small group gigs. Keith Jarrett is his main influence.
